It started innocently enough—with a few samples of a friend's homebrewed creations, a little chat about fermentation here, a peek at some brewing equipment there. Eventually, the friend offered to demonstrate just how easy it is to brew beer at home and that was it. He's had the fever ever since, and has been making great beer from extract kits and 5 gallon all-grain systems alike (and just about everything in between).
In 2004, Drew founded cryptobrewology.com in order to share his passion for beer and brewing with a wider audience. The website is dedicated to the study and appreciation for the art and craft of brewing beer: from the biggest barleywines to the weest of wit beers, including (of course) the most elusive fauna of all—homebrew of all stripes and colors. It features news, reviews, and well-written discourse on everything related to beer and its craft. |
