Saflager S-23 Dry Lager Yeast
For best results, use 1/2 packet for beers with less than 5% ABV and the whole packet when brewing lagers above 5% ABV.

Store the remaining yeast in the fridge and use within 7 days.


Brew beer as usual. After pouring wort into the keg, bring the volume to the 8.5-quart mark with water, then stir vigorously to mix well.

1. Sprinkle yeast into keg, ALLOW TO SIT FOR 5 MINUTES, then stir vigorously and screw on lid.

2. Place the keg out of direct sunlight, in a location with a consistent temperature between 51-59° F (optimal), up to 75° F.

3. ALLOW TO FERMENT A MINIMUM OF 14 DAYS.
