This dry lager yeast strain is used by several commercial breweries and produces malt-balanced lagers over a wide temperature range. Fruit esters increase with fermentation temperature. An excellent choice for virtually any lager style. Each packet contains enough yeast for up to 2 batches!

Temperature Range: 53.6-59° F (optimal) for lagers, up to 75° F only for certain styles like California Common.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BreakAway Homebrewer from What Under Your LME Lid? Replace it with This... This yeast is designed to make your Wort work longer in the fermentation stage. Throw out that yeast under the lid of your main can of LME and use this instead... Every Time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kellerman from Worth the cost Excellent with the right recipe. I recommend to NEVER use the yeast under the lid for any brewing, but the yeast under the lid is good for bread and pizza crust.

Rated 4 out of 5 by McQueen Pub and Grill from Yeast provided with el Gordito kit Easy to use. My next brew I'll wait to pitch the yeast when the Wort has cooled down to the proper temp!
