The Vacation in 2014 with Mr. Beer Contest (the "Contest") is presented by Mr. Beer (the "Sponsor") and administered by US Sweepstakes & Fulfillment Co. (the "Contest Administrator"). The Contest begins at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time ("ET") on Sunday, September 1, 2013 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on Monday, March 31, 2014 (the "Contest Entry Period") and consists of two (2) Periods: the Contest Entry Period and the Judging Period as represented in the chart below. Sponsor's computer is the official
timekeeping device for this Contest.
The Contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, and Canada (excluding Quebec) age 21 or older at time of entry. Void outside the U.S. and Canada, in Puerto Rico and Quebec, and wherever else prohibited by law. Employees of the Sponsor, Contest Administrator and each of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, "Contest Entities"), and the immediate family members of, and/or those living in the same household
of each, are not eligible to enter or win. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Participation in the Contest constitutes participant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of the terms and conditions described herein ("Official Rules").

www.mrbeer.com/win(the "Website") during the Contest Entry Period, provide your Unique Code found inside the Mr. Beer Home Brewing kit (the "Code"), complete the entry form in its entirety, provide a 200 word essay describing how you enjoyed your home brewing experience and the end result (the "Essay"), and click the "submit" button (the "Entry"). Essay must not exceed 200 words. Entrants will receive one (1) entry in the Contest upon successfully completing
their Entry. There are two (2) ways to acquire a Code:
Retail Store Purchase.
During the Contest Entry Period, visit any participating retail store location and purchase a specially marked Mr. Beer Home Brewing kit (SKU: 20028, 20290, 20629, 20635). Open the kit to reveal your Code. Each code is valid for one (1) entry into the Contest; or
2. Write-In Code Request
To participate without purchasing a specially marked Mr. Beer Home Brewing kit (SKU 20028, 20290, 20629, 20635), send your first name, last name, home address, city, state, zip code, email address, phone number and date of birth, and description of your Home Brewing Experience with the Mr. Beer Home Brewing kit, along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope (the "Code Request"), in a #10 envelope. Judging will begin on/around Tuesday, April 1, 2014 and be completed on/around Tuesday, April 22, 2014 based on the following judging criteria:a) Relevance to the Contest Theme (50%)b) Creativity/Originality (25%)c) Home Brewing Experience (25%)In the unlikely event of a tie, the tied entrant with the highest score in Criterion A. Relevance to the Contest Theme will be deemed the potential Finalist. If additional tie breakers are needed, the tie-breaking mechanism above will be used; however, instead of the highest score in Criterion A. determining the potential Finalists from among the tied entries, the highest scores in each of Criteria B. through C., in sequence (to the extent needed) will determine the potential Finalists.Entries become sole property of Sponsor and none will be acknowledged or returned. Nothing in these official Contest rules shall obligate Sponsor to publish or otherwise disclose any entry submitted in connection with this Contest. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Contest.
WINNER DETERMINATION & ANNOUNCEMENT:
The entrant whose Entry receives the highest score during the Judging Period will be deemed the potential Grand Prize winner. The entrant whose Entry receives the next highest score during the Judging Period will be deemed the potential First Prize winner. The next five (5) entrants whose Entries receive the next highest scores during the Judging Period will be deemed the potential Second Prize winners. The next ten (10) entrants whose Entries receive the next highest scores during the Judging Period
will be deemed the potential Third Prize winners. The next twenty (20) entrants whose Entries receive the next highest scores during the Judging Period will be deemed the potential Fourth Prize winners.Winners will be announced on or about

and the winning Entry, along with the winner's name, will be posted on the Contest Site for an indefinite period of time.
PRIZE/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE ("ARV")
One (1) Grand Prize is available to be won of a trip for two (2) to a major North American destination
Adelaide, Australia. Winner may choose between North American destination, provided by the Sponsor at the time of winner notification, and Adelaide, Australia.
• Round-trip coach airfare for two (2), from a major airport nearest winner's residence, as determined by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion.
• Hotel accommodation for three (3) days/two (2) nights in a single room, double occupancy at a hotel determined by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion.
The ARV of Grand Prize is: $5,000. Winner may select a $2,000 cash alternative instead of trip.
One (1) First Prize is available to be won of a Mr. Beer Keg Cooler.
The ARV of First Prize is: $500.
Five (5) Second Prizes are available to be won of an American & International refill pack.
The ARV of Second Prizes is: $60 each. Total ARV of all Second Prizes is $300.
Ten (10) Third Prizes are available to be won of a Mr. Beer merchandise gift package including: one (1) t-shirt, one (1) hat, one (1) pair of sunglasses, and one (1) opener.
The ARV of Third Prizes is: $20 each. Total ARV of all Third Prizes is $400.
Twenty (20) Fourth Prizes are available to be won of a Mr. Beer Standard Refill.
The ARV of Fourth Prizes is: $20 each. Total of all Fourth Prizes is $400.
The total ARV of all prizes available to be won: $6,600.
PRIZE NOTIFICATION & ACCEPTANCE:
Grand and First Prize winners will be confirmed via email and/or phone, and will be required to sign and return, within seven (7) days of notification, an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Waiver, a W-9 Form and where allowable, a Publicity Release (collectively, "the Releases").
These releases will require the Winner to furnish his/her Social Security Number for the sole purpose of tax reporting, as required by law. Winner must travel on the dates determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion or prize will be forfeited. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Sponsor will make reasonable efforts to select travel times acceptable to winner. Travel must be round trip. Travel companion of winner will also be required to sign a travel liability waiver.Winner and guest are responsible for obtaining the proper travel documentation (e.g., valid photo ID, passport) prior to travel. Winner's guest must be a legal U.S. or Canadian resident, and of the Age of Majority in his/her State of Primary Residence or Province, unless travel companion is a child of the winner. Travel companion and/or legal guardian of travel companion, must complete and return a Liability/Publicity/Travel Release prior to travel as noted above.Unless child of winner, travel companion must be eighteen (18) years of ago or older as of the date of departure or a sibling/friend of winner with the appropriate parental permissions and releases.Noncompliance will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. Trip must be taken by
or prize will be forfeited in its entirety.
The prize package will be awarded within approximately 45 days after the winner is verified. Winner will not receive difference between actual and approximate retail value.
Second, Third and Fourth Prize winners
will be notified by email and requested to confirm their mailing address within 48 hours via return email.Prizes will be sent to the address on the entry form or new address provided via email within 4-6 weeks of winner being verified.
If a winner is otherwise eligible under these Official Rules, but is nevertheless deemed a minor in his or her State of Primary Residence or Province, the prize will be awarded in the name of winner's parent or legal guardian who will be required to execute and return Affidavit/Release on minor's behalf. If Affidavit/Release is returned as undeliverable or if the selected winner cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason, or he/she is not in compliance with these Official Rules, the
prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.Non-winning entrants will not be notified. If winner notification is returned as undeliverable or if the selected potential winner cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason or she is not in compliance with these Official Rules, this may result in disqualification and the next highest scoring Entry will be notified and will be deemed the winner, if qualified.
All gratuities, taxes, incidental expenses and any other expenses not specified herein are the sole responsibility of the prize winner and his/her guest.
Winner and travel companion must travel on same itinerary.
Winner and travel companion must have valid photo ID prior to departure.
Accommodations are subject to availability at time of reservation. Blackout dates, advance booking requirements and travel restrictions may apply. Sponsor will determine airline and flight itinerary in its sole discretion. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight. Availability is subject to factors such as weather, seasonality and space availability. Reservations are subject to availability. If weather affects the ability for winner and his/her
guest to redeem any portion of prize during the scheduled date and time, then the Sponsor shall have no further obligation to the winner and/or guest other than to supply the remaining elements of the prize package minus the unused portion of prize. If for any reason whatsoever, winner and/or guests are unable to travel after all travel arrangements have been made and paid, the Sponsor shall have no further obligation to the winner. If in the judgment of Sponsor air travel is not required due to
winner's proximity to prize location, ground transportation will be substituted for round trip air travel at Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates.In the event the prize winner or his/her guest engages in behavior that, as determined by the Sponsor and in its sole discretion, is obnoxious or threatening, illegal, or that is intended to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, the Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the trip prize in whole or in part, with no further compensation.Prize is not redeemable for cash. Prize is non-assignable or transferable. No substitution is permitted except if prize is unavailable, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. No cash in lieu of prizes and no exchange or substitution of prizes, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.
Any other incidental expenses on prize not specified herein are the winner's sole responsibility.Winner is responsible for all federal, state, local, income and any other taxes associated with winning prize.Any winner's Entry and acceptance of a prize awarded constitutes permission for the Sponsor to use the winner's name, image, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice and address (city and state) commercially or non-commercially, in all forms of media known or unknown, in perpetuity, worldwide, without notice or further compensation, except where prohibited.By accepting prize, winner further agrees to release the Contest Entities, from any and all liability, loss or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with winners' participation in this Contest or with respect to the awarding, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of any prize. Winner who is not of the age of majority must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian.No confidential relationship is established by any entrant and the Sponsor as a result of entering the Contest. None of the information submitted by the entrant will be treated as trade secrets, confidential information or as protected data under any obligation. No patent, copyright or other intellectual property rights or licenses are granted to any Contest components supplied by the Sponsor to the potential entrants. In the event any entrant, voter or winner engages in behavior that (as determined by Sponsor in Sponsor's sole discretion) is obnoxious or threatening, illegal or that is intended to annoy, abuse, threaten, disparage or harass any other person or company related to the contest or deemed by the Sponsor to be threatening, disparaging or damaging to the Sponsor, the Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify the entrant, voter or winner and void any entries or votes made by said person.
Incomplete, corrupted or untimely Entries or votes; or any Entry/Votes generated by a script, macro or other automated means are void and will be disqualified. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for incomplete, corrupted or untimely Entries/Votes or for incomplete, lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections, miscommunications, computer or software malfunctions or telephone transmission problems or technical failures, garbled transmissions, damage to a user's
computer equipment (software or hardware) or other errors or malfunctions of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic or otherwise. Proof of sending an entry will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. The Contest Administrator's database clock will be the official timekeeper for this Contest. Sponsor, Facebook, their affiliate companies, parents, subsidiaries, officers, directors and agents are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, including, without
limitation, caused by Website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Contest. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, Entries.
If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of being conducted as planned, including but not limited to infection by computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Sponsor also reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual found to be violating these Official Rules or suspected of
attempting to disrupt or defraud the Entry or voting process or the operation of the Contest, and Sponsor may prosecute or seek other legal redress against anyone suspected of engaging in these acts. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Entry or Vote at any time during the Contest Entry Period that may be found ineligible.By participating in the Contest, Entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and agrees to be bound by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest. The remedy for any claim shall be limited to actual damages, and in no event shall any party be entitled to recover punitive,
exemplary, consequential, or incidental damages, including attorney's fees or other such related costs of bringing a claim, or to rescind this agreement or seek injunctive or any other equitable relief.
