This unique, patented brewing system is completely reusable and is comprised of 4 parts; our high capacity fermenter, Krausen Kollar, lid, and Snap Tap. This vessel will make 1 case of award winning beer with every batch. The Krausen Kollar adds that extra head space for your bigger brews while also minimizing yeast carryover, dramatically reducing cleaning time. The Snap Tap separates for easy cleaning as well. This vessel and its parts are designed to industry leading standards and made of durable BPA free plastic that is UV-resistant, dishwasher safe and imparts zero flavor to the beer.

It is highly recommended you purchase the bottling wand accessory to use with this fermenter. It is not required, but it is very helpful and reduces oxidation!

Rated 5 out of 5 by CTKev from Easy to Use I waited until this fermenter was available by itself to purchase it even though I liked the design from its introduction as a kit. Great way to brew! As others have said it's easier to clean but I also like the extra headroom for slightly larger batches or more active fermentations. The collar helps keep the brew cleaner and I like how the spigot easliy snaps open & closed. The footprint of this fermenter is much smaller than the LBK so it can stand in a tigher space. Two negatives are that I found it very difficult to insert the wand into the spigot and with the tallness of the unit could not fill it with water from the tap, but instead had to fill with a pitcher. But the wide opening on top does make it easy to fill and add any mid-fermentation items.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Butch28 from Best fermenter I purchased this fermenter about a year ago. I love the upright design. This makes it easier to use for brewing. Bottling is great ! Will never use the Little brown barrell again. Would recommend to start with the 2G fermenter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by PDH270 from 2 gal Brewmaster. I'm happy with this product. I bought it because I thought it would be an upgrade to my little brown keg. It works fine, especially with beers with high krausens. While it is easier to clean than the little brown kegs, I'm always spilling the wash everywhere. I find that I use my little brown kegs more often, because they seem less awkward.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lazyk0 from Very easy to clean! I got this to replace on old keg type fnerminter. This is very easy to clean and sanitize and use. Only drawback is the spigot is large and it is impossible to fill a bottle unless you have a dispensing tube (that mine didn't come with)! I had to make one from tubing to bo,title my first batch, witch was (That Voodoo that you do)! This is a very good mellow beer that all my friends love and some are going to get a fermenter and start brewing too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mundo from Upgrade. Bought this fermenter as an diction to my little brown barrel butt eventually I think Inwill be replacing the little brown barrel with another one of these. I like to have two 2 gallon batches going about a week apart, that way I can try different recipes, without being stuck with 5+ gallons of a brew I don't like. My system is working out great I give a consistent flow of different brews. The Krause collar included is a nice touch too, makes cleanup much easier.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Uncle Bud from 2 G Fermenter Haven't had a chance to use it yet. Gave 4 stars because of an absence of instructions for assembly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DoubleH32 from Great Fermenter I have 2 of these fermenters that I use for most of my brews except lagers. Except for brewing lagers it is much better than the Little Brown Keg. It is made of sturdier plastic, easier to clean, carry, see fermentation and dry hop. The LBK small shape/size can fit into cooler or fridges for my lagers. My only other complaint is with the spigot. My first leaked drops every couple hours, but the great customer service at MRB sent a replacement right away. Another spigot has shown some wear and leaks slightly unless the spigot is finessed to a good position. I recommend getting something to put under to tilt the fermenter to keep trub away from the spigot when bottling. Overall great ferment for small batches.

Rated 3 out of 5 by kreno819 from Easy for adding ingredients mid-ferment I used this for the first time this past 2 weeks. It was easy to assemble and I like the way you take the spout apart for cleaning. Getting everything into the fermenter went well. I had to add ingredients after the first week and I was able to do so quickly and easily without disturbing the whole batch. The problem came when it was time to bottle. I tried to use my existing bottling wand (from Mr. Beer) and it kept falling out. So, had to bottle by trying to hold open the spout at just the right speed. Too much and it overwhelmed the bottle opening and spilled over. If I held it too close to the bottle, it created a bubble barrier, causing beer to spill over. I've never ended up with that much beer on the floor or my hands while bottling. I might order a new bottling wand to see if mine is just too old and see if that helps. If not, I'll stick to my little brown buddy.
