This unique, patented brewing system is completely reusable and is comprised of 4 parts; our high capacity fermenter, Krausen Kollar, lid, and Snap Tap. This vessel will make 3 cases (6 gallons) of award winning beer with every batch. The Krausen Kollar adds that extra head space for your bigger brews while also minimizing yeast carryover, dramatically reducing cleaning time. The Snap Tap separates for easy cleaning as well. This vessel and its parts are designed to industry leading standards and made of durable BPA free plastic that is UV-resistant, dishwasher safe and imparts zero flavor to the beer.

It is highly recommended you purchase the bottling wand accessory to use with this fermenter. It is not required, but it is very helpful and reduces oxidation!

Mr. Beer 6G Fermenter assembled with Krausen Kollar: 21 in. tall x 15 in. wide x 17 in. deep

6G Fermenter is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from All looks good! My fermenter arrived during a heat wave in California. I have not brewed a batch due to the heat, but with fall approaching, I am looking forward to brewing my first 6 gallon batch, tripling my batch size. The fermenter appears to be constructed well, & appears to be easier to clean and sanitize than the 2 gallon "keg." I don't see any reason why I won't be completely satisfied once I actually use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best for 5-6 gallon brews If you want to up yourself and brew a 5 gallon batch, or three simple Mr. Beer batches, this is an EXCELLENT fermenter. Very easy to clean/sanitize and very easy to bottle what you brew

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It! I bought my first 6 gallon fermenter from Mr. Beer about six months ago. So happy with it that I now own three total and brew all my kits using them. My old, standard 5 gallon fermenters now have holes drilled in the bottom for drainage and I grow vegetables in them on the back porch. Very easy to clean and work with. Large spigot, no leaks, couldn't be happier.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's Big I have made several brews so far and I haven't needed the krausen ring when doing five gallons, it only just touches the ring, it looks half empty with five gallons. There are a couple of issues, the spigot is to high off the bottom to really be effective and I have not found a way to attach a filler tube or hose to the tap. When using a auto siphon is difficult due to the deep narrow bowl shape bottom, the siphon want to go to the bottom center due to the bowl shape, it's also the deepest part of the yeast cake so you have to hold the siphon up out of the yeast while transferring the entire five gallons and while trying to tip the ferementer to get all the beer, i'm wasting more than I did with a flat bottom.bucket. It cleans up easy and it's solid, I like the burp top and no bubbler and no prying off lids. The weakest part is the spigot and I don't see any replacement spigots available. I'm going to be using this as a secondary, less yeast to deal with. A six gallon wine bucket has plenty of head space and a greater area on the bottom, which means a thinner yeast layer.
