Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better Than Expected Bought this cap some 12oz bottles in my first brew. Worked much better than expected and didn't have to recap any bottles. I only practiced once on a bottle with water. Capped it once, turned it 45 degrees and did it again. No broken bottles either! Although it's plastic it's good quality and a good price. I recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from solidly Built This bottle capper, like all the equipment I have bought from Mr. Beer is both well made and reasonably priced. Since I received it, I have compared it to other cappers at local home brew supply stores and there is no advantage to paying a higher price for the one they offered. I have used it several times so far and it has worked flawlessly each time. I continue to be very satisfied with all my purchases from Mr. Beer - keep up the good work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seal the Deal with the Hand Bottle Capper! I recycled some good quality beer bottles and shared my fresh beer with friends. The Capper worked well with no leaks and no cracked bottles. It did it's job well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Takes a little bit to get used to but works great It took me a little bit to completely understand that I was doing everything correctly, but once I did, it works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well. Works exactly as I hoped. Saves me money because I can use bottles I have anyway. I have had no problem on either twist-top or traditional bottles. Always a good seal, not one single broken bottle. I just make sure they are brown glass to keep light out during brewing. Cheapest way to get bottles is to buy them full and drink them empty :). Only negative is that the magnet in the bottle capper that grips the cap comes loose from the capper, but I just press it back in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bottling glass beer bottles. I have been using plastic bottles for the beer we brew but decided to go with glass bottles for a more professional look. We also ordered custom made labels for the bottles. The hand bottle capper worked great. Every bottle was capped perfectly and it didn't take that much muscle power. I will continue to use it for all glass bottles that we use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to accomplish the task As I prepared myself to use glass or the first time, I wondered just how I was going to do it, as I have some arthritis in a hand and as a result I lost some strength. It was no issue. Easy to place the cap correctly; sealed with no indication of a leak. Combined with the caps I bought from this site, the worry of this task is gone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great This hand capper came with a kit works works well except on some bottles, (Dos equis and some belgian bottles) it slips or won't fit. I bought the agate capper and it's great, but I like this hand capper too. It's plenty stout, not worried about breaking it If I ever do, I'l replace it
