Very easy to brew!
I brewed my first batch of beer from Mr. Beer this evening, the Northwest Pale Ale.
The process was very easy; as someone who normally brews all-grain (1-gallon batches), I found this to go very smoothly. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and time spent was minimal.
Because of some very fond memories of our first family trip to the PNW, I considered adding blackberries (and I guess I still can, on BrewDay+7); however, I have for now decided that for my first time, I'll stick to the script. We'll see how things go, but if early impressions are any indication, it's going to be a great experience.

Better than expected!
This ale has pleasantly surprised me. I expected a standard pale ale that I might use as a base for experimenting next time around (add a little fruit, play around with some hops alternatives, etc.). What I didn't anticipate is the inherently sophisticated and slightly fruity flavor I obtained just by following the basic instructions. I'm enjoying this batch a great deal and will probably make another soon without changing a thing.

Pleasantly surprised!
This was my first time brewing this refill. I added a pale ale ume soft pack and a half ounce of zythos hops. A delicious recipe! This is a great refill to use if you want to experiment with different hops. The subtle centennial hop flavor is easily complimented with any combination of added hops. Be bold, be hoppy! Delicious!!

3 Zombies come to life
I used NW Pale Ale as the backbone for the 3 Zombies recipe and loved the outcome. Nice and hoppy, bright, slightly bitter, strong body, and not too heavy. Pretty in the glass, nice on the nose. It requires some patience to wait out the fermentation, dry-hopping, and carbonation cycles, and I held my breath while the test bottle chilled, but sha-zam! This one is a winner.

Simple and great taste
This is one of my "go-to" pale ales. The hoppiness is about right for my taste and the overall taste of the beer is excellent. I have found it to be a good summer or fall beer. It is not too heavy or too filling to have 2 or 3 at a sitting. overall good quality beer and a very easily-made beer for beginners.

Excellent results with Northwest Pale Ale
My recent brew of Northwest Pale Ale turned out excellent. I conditioned the bottles for 4 weeks, which definitely helped deliver a well-rounded taste. The color was dark amber and the malty brew was very refreshing. I will definitely keep the Northwest Pale Ale refill kit in stock. Wonderful!

North West Pale Ale
A good hoppy NW pale ale> I normally add about 1# of light DME. Plus an assortment of steep grains.. I almost never brew the same recipe twice. I add malt steep grains and hops each time to develop my own DIY recipe . I tend to add cascade hops to this "base' HME
