    Expected Flavor

When you say chocolate I think everyone is thinking decedent rich sweet or semisweet chocolate. The kind you dip strawberries in or that candy is made from. I have made this batch as directed and modified. As directed you do get the bitter sweet flavor that is common with unsweetened cocoa powder. I actually loved the flavor and took it to a party and everyone loved it as well. Not as directed add a few tablespoons of honey and or replace the unsweetened cocoa powder for real chocolate powder. Results will be more like what people would imagine as a chocolate beer.
