This is a rather roomy bag which you'll like. There isn't any ties for it per se but the stitch ends/thread hang very long & you could get away with using them (if you're creative).Otherwise just tie the head of the bag as close to the top as you can. Do keep in mind that with soaking the material will swell so untying the bag will take some patience.Once it is tied & you start soaking it like any good muslin bag it will expand. So much that it looks like a bladder. It gets even larger as the contents swell.This bag came with one of my recipe purchases the Mr. Beer M&B Cream Ale. The bag is high quality & better than many of those bath soak muslin bags.You can untie & wash the bag out if you'd like but there were too many tiny bits to deal with. I just spilt it open & emptied the contents into the composter. There will be about 1/4 cup of liquid absorbed in the malt contents so don't just lay the bag on the table.
