    Surprisingly Good!

I made this a little differently. Instead of DME I used LME since I had the deluxe refill. Also I had some Nugget Hops which I added at the same time as the Willamette Hops (in a separate hop sack). I was careful to keep the temp cool through the fermentation. This turned out exactly what I was looking for a clean crisp lawnmower type beer for hot summer days with a bit more hop flavor than a regular American lager. I will be making this again & again. Very tasty & refreshing.

    CLEAN AND CRISPY

I BREWED THIS AS MY 4TH MR BEER BATCH . REALLY GOOD ! THE WILLAMETTE HOPS GIVE IT A NICE FINISH. I STEEPED THE HOPS FOR 5 MINUTES BEFORE ADDING EXTRACT. WILL MAKE AGAIN

    Balanced American style lager

We've made at least 3 batches of the American Gold version of this recipe (using Booster rather than DME). Typical American lager.
