    First Beer

    My lovely wife got this for me as a Xmas present. My son who recently turned 21 was very curious as well. After reading all the directions we made a batch. It turned out well. IT darker colored and heavier than I expected. I agree with other that it reminds me most of Sam Adams than other commercial beers. Overall We loved it. Be baseball fans we labeled it as Ball Park Lager

    Excellent base brew

    This was my first attempt. It turned out very well; balanced and satisfying. I have gone with AL 4 times. It is reasonably priced and versatile. I didn't get the booster in one shipment (from ebay) so I used honey as a booster. I'll keep you posted on the results. I am looking at using Agave syrup instead of the carbonation tablets next.
