Who remembers there first IPA? For most people, it had to be the New Belgium Ranger IPA, the original. The one that packed crazy amounts of bitterness into a tiny bottle. The one that was only for those true IPA fans who want bitterness on top of bitterness. Well, we were so angry that you can no longer get this beer, we decided to brew up our own! Thus, the Angry Ranger IPA was born. With 7oz of hops, this IPA packs some hardcore bitterness with some amazing hop aroma. If you are a true fan of the bitter IPA's, then this will soon be your favorite brew.

    It has all the hops

    My original Mr Beer kit had 2 cans of HME Oktoberfest and American Style Light. I was looking for a recipe that would test the limits of bitterness and aroma - and I found it with Angry Ranger. The color and foam is appealing but the taste - not bitter at first but then all the hops hit you - it’s definitely something all should go out and try. Great use of the American Light (with plenty of additions).

    A great hoppy IPA!

    I like Voodoo Ranger so I figured I would give this one a try. It is very similar. But more importantly it is a great IPA with lots of hoppy bitterness. Very tasty. I highly recommend it for any IPA fan.

    Excellent

    As usual Mr Beer makes it easy. Followed the directions and conditioned for 3 weeks. Tastes like The Kind from Three Heads Brewing.

    GREAT IPA!!`

    This Beer Is GREAT!! Love the flavor from the hop's (I used centenial hop's In place of simcoe) A bold presence. of centenil up front with the other hop's in the background.Very well balanced all the way through.......And very Hoppy and Bitter.
