    Armstrong Dortmunder Taste

    Nice German Beer

    Just tried my 1st and am very pleased. Malty taste predominates with a hint if the Saaz hops. I was lucky that I got a couple weeks of 50s weather so I could ferment on the back porch. Came out nice. Cold crashed so it’s very clear just slightly darker than the photo on the website. Recommend!

    Refreshing!

    This is my favorite recipe so far. I like the czech pilsner extract as is but with the saaz hops and lager yeast this is well worth having a dedicated fridge to ferment at 54 degrees.

    One of the best on Mr. Beer

    Excellent flavor and a fine example of the style. Take care to watch the fermentation temps to bring out the full flavor of the hops and to allow the yeast to do its thing. Well worth it. This beer is simply delicious!
