STORY

Overview: Bière à La Pêche is a refreshing peach beer brewed with Canadian Blonde Brewing Extract, Golden LME, lactose, Carapils Malt, Honey Malt, S-33 yeast, and peach juice. It delivers soft malt flavor, creamy sweetness, bright peach character, and a smooth 4.2% finish.

PROFILE

Tasting Notes: Expect a lightly sweet peach beer with smooth malt flavor, soft body, honey-like malt character, and a refreshing peach finish. It is fruity, creamy, easy-drinking, and built for late-summer sipping.

IMPORTANT BREWING NOTE

Peach Addition Note: Peach juice is added on day 7 of fermentation to bring fruit flavor and aroma to the finished beer.

Lactose Note: This recipe contains lactose, a milk-derived sugar used to add sweetness, body, and a creamy mouthfeel. In a finished 2-gallon batch, that equals about 0.5 oz, or 14 g, per 16 oz pint.

    Great summer beer

First time brewing this and it will go into my rotation. I think its one of the best I have every brewed. Get peach flavor but not overpowering and definitely get the honey malt on the nose. I fermented for 16 days and conditioned 25 days. Broke it out over the 4th holiday and it was a hit.

    Refreshing fruit summer ale.

I really didn’t know what to expect from this recipe but I’m glad I purchased it. I used frozen fruit instead of the juice. Freezing breaks open cell walls so it’s great for flavoring beer. I used a pound of frozen peaches that I added 10 days into fermentation. I also added 6 oz. of oats to the grain bill to improve mouth feel. Lastly I dry hopped this ale. I used 1oz of Simcoe for six days. The dry hopping gave this ale a crisp citrus aroma but it did fade a little over time.I’m planning on using many different fruits with this very versatile recipe.

    Sweet profile darker beer

Sweet profile dark beer with a slightly syrupy mouth feel. Head is not as thick as anticipated. Not quite as much bite as my go-to Oktoberfest. Leans toward a sipping beer more so than a full swig.look: 5 | smell: 4.5 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.5

    Amazingly smooth

This recipe totally exceeded my expectations. It is very smooth refreshing and sweet... But not too sweet. Kinda resembles a peach tea...only better because it contains a buzz. This will definitely be a great beer for summertime.
