    Smooth beer

Surprised how dark this turned out.... love the cascade and columbus hops... has some coffee notes...all and all a really smooth beer...would boil the hops a little longer for more flavor... 3 weeks in lbk... 5 weeks carbonation and conditioning 1 tsp sugar per 740ml

    IPA?

It is a hoppy brown ale that i might consider being an IPA. I like hoppy beers and this one is good. Smooth and flavourful I'll brew this recipe again. Sanitized everything that touched the brew with Star-San. No off flavours or twang tastes. Brewed 3 weeks bottled for 6 weeks.

    Best I've brewed yet.

Came out slightly darker than photo hoppy malty flavor. Will definitely brew again. I brew both 2.5 and 5 gal. So I will definitely step up recipe to 5 next time.

    One of my favorites

I've made this one again and again. Good flavor. I typically use less sugar in bottling due to over-carbonation but that's with every recipe on here.
