    Nice Red

I had a starting SG of 1.057. After the 14 days fermentation with the dry hop at day 7 I had 68.42% attenuation and 5.12% ABV. The final gravity was stable at 1.018 for the last 11 days. This produced a nice hoppy and earthy red ale.

    My New Favorite Red

Extremely smooth with just a hint of bitterness. I rested mine for two months after bottling before cracking the first one. It's my new favorite red recipe. I'll definitely be making this again.

    more Drinking less Thinking...

I was a regular customer of Mr Beer a few years ago. I loved many of their recipes and had a blast concocting my own using Mr Beer’s malts and hops. But then I became a purist...I began takingjj myself way too seriously. I began making my own wort and set up a home brewery that consumed virtually all my time. End result? No where near the reward per effort. I’m back with Mr Beer...Always quick shippingAlways tasty resultsand can still custom blend using Mr Beer’s ingredients.
