    I love this stout!

    It took some time to condition but it was well worth the wait. At about 10 weeks since bottling the raspberry is no longer the strong feature...more a part of a wonderfully complex blend of tastes. The chocolate is very noticeable. I plan to make this one regularly!

    Dark yet enlightening!

    Dark Forest stout is one of my favorites and combines luscious malty darkness with a nice raspberry finish. This one also cellars quite well so even if it takes you over a year to find your way through the forest you will still enjoy this stout!

    Not as good as it sounds

    The rasberry gives it a tangy finish. Not a fan. Sounded a lot better than it was.

    A good dark beer

    I always let my brew set in the container for 2 weeks and then in the bottles for 2 weeks. I added the can of raspberries to this batch. Finished product is excellent.

    Best brew to date!

    I made a slight change I used cherries instead of raspberries. I bought the same Oregon brand cherries in syrup and followed the recipe. Drinking some right now as I write this review. The chocolate flavor comes through more than the cherry. I can smell the cherry but its not that prominent in the flavor. Poured a dark black color slight head and a little lacing on the glass. I will age the rest a few more weeks. Definitely a winner.
