Everything you need to craft your perfect brew

STORY

Overview: De Koningsbeker Belgian Dark Strong Ale is a bold, complex ale brewed with Coopers Dark UME, Smooth DME, Pale LME, Booster, Munich Malt, Crystal 40, Goldings hops, raisins, and T-58 yeast. It delivers rich malt depth, dark fruit character, Belgian-style yeast spice, and a powerful 8.3% finish.

PROFILE

Tasting Notes: Expect a strong Belgian-style dark ale with deep malt flavor, caramel notes, raisin-like dark fruit character, light spice from T-58 yeast, mild herbal hop balance, and a warming finish.

IMPORTANT BREWING NOTE

High-Gravity Note: This is a strong 8.3% ABV recipe with a large fermentable load. Give it the full fermentation time and plan for additional conditioning so the malt, raisin, and Belgian yeast character can smooth out.

Muslin Sack Note: The brewing process uses separate sacks for the grains, raisins, and two Goldings hop additions. This recipe should include 4 muslin hop sacks.

This is probably the best beer I've ever made or drank. It's getting better with age sadly I'm down to 1 or 2 bottles.
