Long Play IPA Complete Beer Making Kit

    Mr.Beer Long Play IPA.

I have to go 3 stars. Pros - very easy to make fermenter is decent and works also as a bottling bucket for other brews. Directions are easy to read. Its good to get someone into brewingCons - the beer does not taste good at all. Very malty and dark for an IPA. No hop flavor. The bottles are okay. But would just recommend getting glass bottles. If you are looking for more advanced brews all grain more flavor or just a good beer in general. Do not get this. If you like malty heavy bodied beers. This would be perfect for you. But i would not call it an IPA as its very dark and has no hop aroma or flavor. All in all the experience wasnt bad. The beer that was made was not good.

Back after 8 years better than ever

I had first used Mr. Beer about 8 years ago and when I decided to start brewing again I was excited to use them again. I can tell they've made some good upgrades to the process and equipment and the instructions were as clear as I remember. My first batch is just ready to drink and it's delicious!
