Funky Buddha was worth the wait and effort!

Today is the day!  First taste of conditioned Funky Buddha Hop Stimulator and it is awesome!  Great clear golden color.  A wonderful almost peppery Hop taste.  And no extract tang to the taste.  Very happy with this recipe! This was an early partial mash recipe for me and I will try to do partial mash going forward. It really rounds out the flavor. Also my first with the 2G Fermenter rather than the LBK. The extra room for high krausen was welcome as this recipe really does ferment up a storm in the early days. The 3G fermenter did not allow as easy temperature control for me due to size but the result is amazing.

    Outstanding IPA

I know this seems pricey. But at 11 750 ml bottles it comes out to less than 5 per bottle. And this is an outstanding 10% ABV double ipa. I am right now having a craft brewery IPA that cost 8 dollars for a 750lm (9%!) and I can say without any doubt that the Hop Stimulator is a better beer. It has a smooth malt backbone the bitterness is not overpowering and the flavor and aroma of the hops shine through. It is a wonderful beer. Well worth it.
