Everything you need to craft your perfect brew

STORY

Overview: Gamayun Russian Imperial Stout Extract Version is a rich, complex imperial stout brewed with Bewitched Amber Ale Brewing Extract, Northwest Pale Ale Brewing Extract, BrewMax LME Robust, and Safale S-04 yeast. It is dark, smooth, malty, and built for brewers who love bold stout flavor.

PROFILE

Tasting Notes: Expect a dark imperial stout with roasted malt character, coffee notes, dark chocolate, caramel undertones, balanced bitterness, a full creamy mouthfeel, and a smooth finish with little alcohol heat.

IMPORTANT BREWING NOTE

Fermentation Note: This is a strong, high-gravity stout with a lot of fermentables. Place your fermenter somewhere safe in case foam or liquid escapes during fermentation.

    Great Stout longer condition time

Requires a little patience. Tastes great at 4 weeks conditioning but a little flat. At 2 months conditioning it was perfect (that’s the pic) Just like a high end 4 pack from my favorite KC brewery.

    Great Beer

Delicious stout; chocolatey and nutty. I brewed this in August/September to have ready for the holidays. It took a looooong time for the bottles to get carbonated. The Gamayun took about two months while every other beer I’ve brewed took a couple of days. It’s worth the wait though because this beer needs some conditioning anyway. Goes great with a holiday meal.

    Amazing Taste

Great Flavor! Also really good ABV. Let set for at least 5 months after bottling to get the best flavor possible.
