I have made this a couple times over the years because I like how it tastes. I add 1 or 2 bags of Booster to the cold water to bump the alcohol content a bit. Once the batch mellows out in the fridge after carbonizing (bottling) it has a very nice taste & body that is; it comes out the way I like it. I pop these in the back fridge so that they aren't disturbed & can mature. I'm not a fan of that apple cider tasting beer.Just as it is with out the Booster it is fine & has a wonderful beer taste. This is along the lines of Michelob but handmade. Don't confuse the diet beers with the full bodied - all calorie ones there is a BIG taste difference (to me).This is the one beer that I experiment with because I know how it will come out the right way & use that as a base.Seeing that Mr. Beer has stepped up to having super fresh yeast under the lid I don't use any other yeast like I used to. I wanted to mention this to those old time keg fermenters who will know what I mean.Like many I didn't buy the kit to make modifications just make beer. Then I experiment on my own if that's on the list.Summer is just around the corner as I write this so it's time to clean out the equipment & get another kit so that I have a few quarts on hand. I like to label my bottles with my own label creations so my guests & friends know which beer they are going to enjoy once they crack the seal. As I do make different beer blends. So in another review I discussed my Christmas gift and the two kits included were the Aztec Cerveza and this Czech Pilsner. Before brewing I actually purchased another Little Brown Keg to do them both at the same time. I mean it ferments about the same in terms of time. So I made this Czeck Pilsner and it worked great.
