    Darker than expected

I recently brewed this 2 weeks in the brown jug then 2 weeks in the bottles just fridge conditioned the first bottle for 48 hrs and is way darker than I expected. This tastes like a toasty amber ale with a very strong honey flavor so not sure where I went wrong. Will let the other bottles sit for a bit before putting in the fridge to see if that helps.

    Fantastic!

This was my 3rd batch that I ever made and it was a blast to make! It's currently conditioning in bottles and can't wait to try the finished product. I tasted it before bottling and was shocked at how good it tasted before the carbination. I think this will be a great summer time drink! I added a little more honey and some extra sugar to up the ABV and know the honey will dry it out a little more but if it tasted as good as it did before I bottled can't wait to open this sucker up in a week!

    Horse's *** is a Champ

(Review after 5 weeks in bottle 48 hours in fridge) A real whiiinn(y)-er!! Refreshing and light but bursting with flavor with a sour hoppy citrus twang the definite effect of the hop sack during the ferment. I used 12 oz of grade A pasteurized honey from the local big box store (a bargain at $3.95 here in Pennsylvania USA). A truly wonderful beer one I will eagerly brew again; unique and a breed apart. In the winner’s circle for sure! (BTW this recipe proves yet again what a fantastic extract Mr. Beer Light is both on its own and as a base for so many other recipes such as here with Horse's *** American Pale and in Chantilly Lace Pale Ale I just brewed today.)

    Good solid refreshing beer

Simple to make and thought it turned out nice. Mine had a good head and was smooth. Gonna brew again but add more honey next time because I feel it gets lost a bit plus maybe a booster to really get that ABV to climb.
