    Oktoberfest deluxe

    I recently purchased the Oktoberfest deluxe kit. I added an extra 6 cups of water in order to make enough bree for 24 bottles. I also added extra table sugar to boost ABV as well as maltodexterine to help with head retention. Fermented lower temp for 21 days and the results are as follows: Projected OG = 1.045Projected FG = 1.015Projected ABV = 3.93 %Actual OG = 1.053Actual FG = 1.010Actual ABV = 5.63Tasted very good even before conditioning. Will condition for 2-3 weeks

    My First Attempt at Homebrewing a SUCCESS Story

    This is my first attempt at homebrewing and I have to say it turned out PERFECTLY to say the least. It is like having a KILLIAN's IRISH RED but on steroids. Perfect... I have now ordered a second kit and will be giving the American Style Lager a try. Awesome...

    Smooth and Balanced

    Balance of bitter and sweet. I didn't notice much difference in taste with the Deluxe set but it was a little thicker and sweeter with the 2 LME packs.

    Favorite Mr Beer EVER

    This was my second Mr Beer experience and it did not disappoint! This kit was easy to brew quick to ferment and the results were stellar. This beer has an awesome flavor profile with the perfect amount of bitterness and dark roasted malt highlights. I loved it so much I bought 2 more kits while the sale was running. I have given this to several friends who have done nothing but rave over it. Do yourself a favor and pick this up as soon as it is back in stock!!!

    It's beer!

    This was the second brew made with Mr. Beer....The first was a porter which was really good...as I samples the first bottle I was a little disappointed....great aroma mouth feel head...just thought it was lacking a little flavor....but after the 2nd bottle i really started to enjoy it...My neighbor LOVED IT...I'll definitely give this one another go...
