    Favorite Beer I've Made

I've made this beer three times now and it's a huge hit not only for me but for sharing. A couple of things make sure you lightly roast the pecans long enough to pull out oils so it doesn't hurt the head on the beer (also dry them on paper towels) and if you want more of a pecan flavor (as I do) use 10 ounces of pecans. Finally the hardest part is wait over a month after bottling before tasting. I found this on my second batch when I didn't try it until 6 weeks after bottling. The beer is a little sweet which goes well with the pecan flavor and very smooth. Great overall beer.

    Very good! Improvised with bourbon.

Tastes great! I added bourbon to half the bottles which turned out great as well. Will definitely make this again.
