    One of My Favorites

This is what a Wheat Beer tastes like smooth drinkable and refreshing. The spice was not prevalent. But if I continue extraxt brewing I'll do it again.

    Pumpkin Weissbier

I couldn't find Mulling Spice so I made my own from an internet recipe and added canned pumpkin. The beer wasn't as flavorful as I expected though with that said everyone I shared it with liked it. I'll brew it again.

    Needs a second hop sack

Taste is like a mix between pumpkin and apple cider but the spices seem off. There should probably be 2 Muslin Hops Sacks in this (there is only 1 included; for the spices. the should be a second for the pumpkin); the pumpkin puree had waaaay too much sediment floating on top. I tried a cold crash but there was too too much puree that got into the final few bottles. I even used a strainer but still too much while bottling the last ones. This produced about 3/4 of what a normal refill/recipe produces.

    Loved it!

I'm not a big fan of pumpkin beers but this one really hit the spot. It had a light but diverse flavor to it without being too pumpkin-y or overloaded with cinnamon. I caramelized the pumpkin before adding it to the wort (I read somewhere it helps bring out the flavor). I plan on doing this one again next fall but I might add a yeast strain that's designed for wheat beers.
