For fans of Modelo Negra or Shiner Black Lager

Made this recipe. I'm in south Texas so I kept the LBK in a ice chest and rolled ice packs every 12 hours to stay in the temperature window for lagering. Timeline for bottling and conditioning held true. Flavor and carbonation were on point. If you are a fan of Modelo Negra or Shiner Black Lager this recipe is a winner.

A Tasty Lager! (And I didn't Lager it)

This is a tasty recipe. I think it has more flavor and body than Modelo dark which is fine by me. And for those who shy away from brewing lagers because you can't lager them I was unable to do it with this batch and they turned out fine. I fermented at 58F. For carbonating and conditioning I just kept them in the coolest area of my house which varied from 67-74F.

    Easy as pie

Easy to brew can't wait to try this one. First time using corn as a grain. Interested in how this will taste.
