    No Confidence

I was anxious to try this beer. It has good reviews as a 2 gallon recipe but I thought I would go ahead with brewing a larger volume. I am not new to homebrewing (over 30 years) and generally feel I know what I'm doing. I followed this recipe to the letter but during fermentation I did not get much activity in my airlock and when I opened the fermenter to dry hop there was no evidence of a Krausen ring. I suspect I got a package of less than good yeast. I bottled today and only showed an ABV of 4.6. On tasting the beer has an unpleasant strong bitter taste. I may have to dump 37 bottles of wasted effort in two weeks. Right now I have no confidence that this beer will be drinkable.
