Dampfbiers are truly the beer of the people. In the forests of Bavaria, it wasn't always easy or affordable to obtain the ingredients for beer, so what was at hand was often used. In this case, the process resulted in a wonderful outcome. All barley, it most closely resembles a lager from the grains, and gently hopped with a wheat yeast providing a twist of flavor that adds a pleasant surprise.

    Enjoyable wingman

    I've tried a variety of refills and recipes across the spectrum offered by Mr. Beer. This is definitely one that I will repeat. I'm finally learning to be patient with them and let them rest a while before opening one up. I liked the smell feel and taste of this not overwhelming and definitely a favorite to share with friends.
