Proceeds from all Sir Kenneth Blonde Ale recipes sold are donated directly to Paladin Brewery's owner and Brewmaster, John Chandler.

John started with a Mr. Beer kit several years ago, and decided to open his own brewery in August 2015. However, he was diagnosed with sinus cancer right before the brewery's opening. Now, Paladin is celebrating nearly 3 years in business, and most importantly, John's health, as he is in remission.

    Great beer!

It is very easy to brew and I tasted it early and it has a great flavor profile. I will be making more in the future.

    A lovely blonde ale!

Sir Kenneth Blonde Ale is easy to make and has a refreshing lemony flavor. It brews clean and clear. This was one of my early partial mash recipes and they really elevate what a Mr. Beer recipe can taste like. I think it is cool that this is a clone of beer from a brewery that got its start like us - making home brew!

    Wonderful Beer - very refreshing.

I tried it yesterday after 4 weeks in the bottle and it was crystal clear and a very refreshing taste. It had a good hop flavor even a little lemony and not overpowering. I would be lucky to find one this good in a brew pub. I had one glass and could not resist another. Fortunately I only had one bottle chilled or I probably would have gone through them.

    Good tasting beer

This is the second one I bought. The first was really good. This one is still in the fermenter and will be bottled in 3 days!

    Not Bad But...

When this recipe was first released it sold out before I could buy it. So when it was back in stock I jumped at getting it with sky-high expectations. Once it had conditioned the minimum time I anxiously tried the first one. I found it OK but nothing to write home about. It had a nice citrusy touch but was more bitter than expected. It might be better without all the conditioning while the hops are still hoppy. Or maybe my expectations were just just unrealistic.
