Either I don't get it or I need to try it later.I put this petcock on my old fermenter to use with the new wand to ease filling. I wasn't successful.I had to go back to using my old hose method. Which I was successful with.The problem that I was having is that the beer stopped flowing after a few inches into the bottle. I did try having more angle less angle & no angle. I couldn't get it to fill the bottle. So I modified the wand end (Which fits very well) to my filling hose so I could bottle my brew.The nozzle is nice in that it turns off or has a partial off (midway) which will facilitate faster bottling. That is compared to my press & hold petcock. So if you're a fan of turn to flow spigot for bottling this is a great one to have. Like all Mr. Beer items it works very well & expect to have it for many years.
