These hops can be used as both Bittering and Aroma hops.
For bitering, these hops are added at the beginning of the boil. Typically, this is a 60 minute boil, but since our kits already have bittering hops added, any supplemental bittering hops will be boiled for no longer than 20 minutes.
The higher the alpha acid % and the longer the hops are boiled, the more bitterness the hops will impart. When boiling hops with our kits, it is highly recommended that you add a Liquid or Dry Malt Extract Softpack to the boil, or the hops won’t leave behind any bitterness. Do NOT boil the Brewing Extract.
For aroma, these hops are added at the end of the boil, or after 1 week of fermentation for “dry-hopping”. These hops contribute the flavor and aromas to beer. When dry-hopping, be sure to sanitize the hop sack (if using one) by boiling in hot water or submerging in One-Step No-Rinse solution for a few minutes before adding the hops

Too complicatedThis came as part of the Summer Shandy I wanted to try. The product was exactly as described and delivered quickly. There were a lot of steps to make the Summer Shandy, and I should have read the directions before ordering. In hindsight, I probably would not order this again, but it is still worth the one-time try.

Quality and excellenceExcellent products, just need a better instructions online, when you have a receipe there's not a clear instructions for use all the ingredients. However the quality of each item is amazing and definently I will be continue using Mr Beer.

GREAT!Nice addition to the last batch of IPA I made. Tossed em in after a week of fermentation and they added quite a bit of citrus flavor. Next time I'll use a hop sack though, I'm not a fan of chunky beer!

Fresh, bright flavorI used these hops in a(n attempted) clone of Elysian Space Dust. I don't know how well I do but I do know it tasted great.
