How does the program work?

Purchase the Mr. Beer Premium Subscription Program for $99. This is an annual program so once your year membership is up, you will have to renew it for the new year.

With the purchase of that subscription, you will receive 20% off on all orders through your monthly subscription box. You can add any items you want to your box. You will get free shipping on all your subscriptions boxes no matter how small or big the order is. This discount is typically bigger than any promotion that we offer throughout the year.

So, if you were to order just 1 Standard Refill every month for your 12-month subscription, you would save $148 over that time by taking advantage of our subscription program.

You have the ability to cancel your subscription at any time. You will also be able to skip months as needed by updating your billing date on your boxes. So if you happen to be traveling and can’t get your brew on, then just update your billing date to the following month

Once you hit 6 months of subscription orders over $15 in your subscription year you will get a FREE custom recipe. We will send you an email once you qualify and all you have to do is reply with what beer you want and our brewmasters will create the recipe, write the instructions and send it to you free of charge.


How to sign up for the program?


The first thing you will need to do is create a Mr. Beer account. Without this, you will not be able to get the subscription pricing. If you are purchasing this as a gift you will also need to create an account.


Once you have created an account and are logged in, add the annual subscription program to your cart and complete the checkout process. 


After checkout please allow 5 minutes for your account to be updated and for the subscription pricing to show on the product details page. 


Once you see the subscription pricing on the product details page you will need to create your first box, by creating an order. To do this go through and add the items you want. You will check the button "Subscription Box" and then click the "Add to Box" button. For your first order, this will add items to your cart. Once you have added all the items you want to your box (which will show in your cart) go ahead and complete the checkout process to create your first box order. If you do not click the "Subscription Box" button and 'Add to Box" you will not get the 20% discounted pricing. If pricing is not showing on the product details page, check your cart, it should show the discounted pricing in there. 


After you have created your first box order you can go into the My Account tab and see what items are in your box. This is where you will remove items you no longer want. Your next billing date will be 30 days from the date you submit your first box order. 


To change the contents of your box for future orders go through and add the items you want. You will check the button "Subscription Box" and then click the "Add to Box" button. This will add items to your next box order (not the cart). Then to remove items you do that from the My Account Page and click on Subscription Box, then click remove on what items you want to remove. Then your box order will process on the next scheduled billing date. 




FAQs

-Can I cancel anytime I want?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription any time you want, and monthly orders will stop processing.

-If I cancel my subscription, do I get my membership fee back?

No, the annual fee is non-refundable. So, if you cancel you will not get your money back. If you signed up by mistake or some other situation has happened, we will do our best to work with you to resolve the issue.

-Can I skip months on my order?

Yes, you can skip as many months as you would like. To skip months just change your billing address to the next desired date you wish to have an order generated.

-How do I update my billing dates?

In the my account section, click on the subscription box. Then look for “Next Payment Date”, which is where you would edit your billing dates and also how you can choose to skip months.

-I forgot to change my monthly items in my box can I send it back or get a refund?

No, we provide notifications at 14 days, 7 days, and 24 hours before your box order ships. Once your monthly box ships we will not able to offer any refunds or replacement orders. We recommend setting a notification in your calendar so you know when your box will be shipping. 

-Does free shipping apply to all monthly orders? 

No, free shipping will only apply to your subscription box orders. Free shipping will not apply to PO Boxes, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, or any Armed Forces Address. 

-Can I give the subscription program as a gift?

Yes, before you complete the purchase of the subscription program, fill out the form on the details of the product page. Then about 30 minutes after you place your order, you will get an email with a coupon code. This coupon code you give to the person you bought it for, and allows them to get the program for free. They just use the code during checkout. We will automatically cancel the subscription purchase that will show up on your account. If you have any concerns please contact our customer service team.

-My subscription pricing is not showing up?

Please make sure that you are first logged into your account. If you are please try clearing your history and your cache on your browser and then log to and log back into your account. If it is still not showing up please contact our customer service team. 

-Will I receive email notifications before my order ships?

Yes, we will send you an email 14 days, 7 days, and 24 hours before your order is scheduled to ship.

-How do I add items to my subscription box?

When viewing a product detail page simply check the button for the subscription box and click add to my order. This is after you have created your first box order. 

-Can I still place regular orders?

Yes, you can still place regular orders on the website whenever you would like. However, they will not be 20% off. They will be regular price or whatever price they are currently on sale.

-Do coupon codes or other discounts combine with my subscription program?

No, any other coupons or website promotions will not combine with the subscription program discount. The only discounts that will apply with the subscription program are Military & Veteran Discount and our Mr. Beer Rewards discounts. All others will not apply.  

-How does the free recipe work?

Once you have had 6 months of subscription orders within your annual membership, we will create a custom recipe for you. To qualify each order needs to be over $15. Once you are eligible you will receive an email stating so. All you have to do is reply to that email with beer you would like us to clone for you. We will write up the instructions and send you the ingredients to brew it. PLEASE NOTE: We will only be able to send ingredients that we stock on the website. Your recipe may require additional ingredients for you to purchase such as fruit, liquor, vanilla, etc.

-Will you be adding more features to the subscription program in the future?

Yes, some of the things we will be adding over the next several months are early access to sales, early access to new recipe releases and free carbonation drops with every refill or recipe purchase.
