She’s feisty, this one, but not too bitter. Showcasing vibrant amber hues, velvety smooth caramel malt character, even bitterness and a delicate citrus hop aroma, this amber ale epitomizes the characteristics that make this style a microbrewery standard.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MrBenda from Easy Drinker I usually stick with the light beers that way I can have them with any occasion whether it be dinner or just watching TV. Craft in my experiences are good with certain things and then some of them are just awful. This was easy to drink for just about anything. It was a little milder than I thought it would be as far as lingering flavor. The flavor was good and like a light beer there was no after taste that would keep haunting you like IPA. I would recommend this beer for someone that would like to branch out of a light beer into something with a little more flavor and is still easy to drink. The price is a little higher compared to the light beers but that is to be expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Friends from Golden LME Softpack recommeneded! I added the Golden LME Soft pack to this recipe, and it was worth it. I left this batch in my LBK at about 70 degrees for 19 days, then bottled and conditioned at room temperature for 26 days, and then in the fridge for 5 days. Great taste, pours out smooth. Better taste and kick than most major brands, in my opinion. My friends and family loved this batch and it didn't last long. I will be brewing this one again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by MightyKTC from Exceptionally Solid Standard I've been brewing Bewitched Amber Ale for several years now. It's one of the best "basic" refills - pours a beautiful amber color, with a slight, 1/4 inch off-white head, and leaves a good amount of lacing on the glass. Taste is malty and robust. A really solid fall beer. Love brewing it to coincide with September/October and the start of football season.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rocco from Great Amber Beer I have been a Sam Adams Oktoberfest fiend for 2 decades. This and Mr. Beers Oktoberfest Deluxe are better. Great smooth consistency and rich flavors are fantastic. On a side note: I don't see myself ever going back to commercial beers. Mr. Beer has spoiled me. Happy Brewing

Rated 4 out of 5 by chadss34 from Scottish Wee Heavy I bought this because I'm trying to brew an old recipe that you used to have called " Scottish Wee Heavy". However I cannot find the recipe or the remaining ingredients. So hopefully these recent items I ordered work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by EnjoyHomeBrewing from A Great Beer This is definitely one of my favorite Mr Beer refills. I definitely recommend the Bewitched Amber Ale to first time brewers because it tastes great and should help insure a successful brew.

Hi, the instructions on the 1.3kg can of Bewitched Amber Ale instructs me to fill the keg with cold water to the Number 1 and Number 2 marks. No such marks exist. What number of litres do these equate to, pls?

Asked by: Whisher
Mark #1 is 4-liters and Mark #2 is 8.5-liters. Cheers!

Is it necessary to add sugar or other products before adding the yeast?  Or is the blend ready to ferment on its own?

Asked by: Isma
You do not need to add any additional sugar to the wort can. Cheers!

Are there any apple extracts or anything to do with apples in this brew?

Asked by: Levi
Hi there! Apple can sometimes be a tricky flavor to capture in beer, without making it taste "too cidery". For this reason, I really prefer using a high quality, water based, "apple essence/flavoring". There are several on the market, but my favorite comes from a company called "Amoretti"; highly suggest checking out the food grade flavorings on their website. In many cases, you just need a drop per bottle but you can adjust the amount based on your tastes. Cheers!

Does this have all things needed to make the beer, or do I still need booster, and yeast?

Asked by: Jefftrader
The refill will come with yeast under the lid. You don't need the Booster pack to brew. Also, you will need carbonation drops to carbonate your beer during the bottling phase.
