This is a No-Rinse Cleanser that cleans and disinfects with oxygen and doesn't require rinsing when used to disinfect. When used properly, it will not contribute to off flavors in your beer. This single pouch will prepare both keg and bottles for one batch of beer.

Fill clean keg with warm water to the line mark 1 on the back of your Little Brown Keg, then add ½ of the No-Rinse Cleanser pack (about 1 tablespoon) and stir until dissolved. Once dissolved, the solution is ready to use.

If you are brewing with another fermenter, simply add ½ of the No-Rinse Cleanser pack (about 1 tablespoon) to 1 gallon of warm water, stir until dissolved, and use as needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Clarence Couch from MR. Beer's Secret to success! The first step in brewing great beer is to make sure evertying that comes in contact with the worts and beer is completely sterilized and this is what makes it SUPER easy. The no hassle way to completely sterilize everything and Mr. beer makes it SO easy! Just put water in the fermenter and sprinkle a half a pack of the no-rinse cleaner into it and shake. Let sit for 2 minutes and shake again and that's it! Then you can pour that in to a bowl or pot and sterilize all your utinsiles! Like it says, "no rinse". BTW, the other half of the packet is for sterilizing the bottles when it's time for that. Just another way Mr. Beer makes it SO easy , fun and rewarding to brew great beer, every time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hector from Found Mr. Beer Kit I just started brewing with Mr. Beer when I found a kit and a variety pack that somehow ended in my shed and because of Covid-19 I went ahead and started brewing. Naturally this first batch was not good as the Yeast had expired a while back. I then decided to order refills and try it out. Not sure how far this hobby is going to take me, but planning and scheduling the next batch is key for keeping your refrigerator stock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Joan from No-Rinse Cleanser, a must for great home brews! One of the most important parts of home brewing is making sure everything is sanitized - from the keg you use to ferment your beer to the bottles where it ends up. Mr. Beer's No-Rinse Cleanser couldn't be easier to use. Dissolve a half pack in a gallon of warm water and, with some common sense, you can rest assured that the only microorganisms your batch will have are happy little yeast cells!

Asked by: James80
It's best to use no-rinse right before a new brew. Cheers!

Can I pre-mix the cleaner in a spray bottle or will it lose its potency if left in a bottle? Thank you, Chuck

Asked by: Chuck R
No-rinse when left in solution (wet) will lose its potency. Starsan is a better option for keeping on hand, in a spray bottle. Cheers!

Is this stuff suppose to be slimy? I mixed the exact amount stated in the directions and there is a definite slime on everything it touches. Also, small, clear bb sized balls left in sink from the cleanser.

Asked by: J123
It can be a bit slimy to the touch. This is because it contains an ingredient that helps it cling to the surface of your equipment. Cheers!

Is it supposed to be slimy? I followed the instructions and its so slimy!

Asked by: BigDovel
Yes, it is! This is so your sanitizer clings to your equipment rather than rolling right off! Cheers!

Is this enough to sanitize a 6 gallon fermenter and utensils and bottles ?

Asked by: Culchie
Yes, as long as you make up a 1 gallon of water per half a packet solution and distribute it over all parts of your fermenter. Cheers!

Good day. Im ready to start my brew and preparing my no rinse cleanser.  Do I need to let the keg dry after the cleanser before I add my fresh water and brewing extract?
